Zenglen Band has come a long way and still survived as one of the well acclaimed Kompa musicians in the history of Haitian Music Industry. They will not be called the longest running Kompa musicians for nothing if they had not proven time and time again that they were one of the best Haitian Kompa musicians to have ever lived up to the expectations of their multiple generations of fans. The combined talents and dedication of each member is great factors that contributed to the success of the band. The members namely Brutus Derissaint who founded and managed the Zenglen as well as played the rhythm guitar, Jean Herard Richard the maestro and the drummer, Gracia Delva the first original lead singer and afterward, came Kenny Desmangles the very sultry and talented lead vocalist, DaBenz Cherry the equally talented second vocalist singer, Louixene Floristal the lead guitarist, Ernst Benjamin the bass player, Jude Severe the keyboardist, Eddy Germain the one who plays the Congas, James Nozille the percussionist, Nicolena Ferrentino the saxophonist, and the last but not the least Alexis Llerena the one who plays the trombone. The forces of all the members of the band constitute the power the Zenglen has. No wonder, the Zenglen has lived to the fullest and will continue to reign in the Kompa industry.
